Matasan Najeriya miliyan 2.7 suna dauke da cutar kanjamau – UNICEF

Asusun kula da yara na Majalisar Dinkin Duniya ya ce kimanin mutane 310,000 ne suka kamu da cutar kanjamau a shekarar 2021, wanda ya kawo adadin matasa masu dauke da cutar kanjamau a duniya zuwa miliyan 2.7 a bara.

UNICEF ta ce kusan yara 110,000 da matasa masu shekaru 0 da 19 sun mutu sakamakon kamuwa da cutar kanjamau a shekarar 2021.

An bayyana hakan ne a cikin wata sanarwa don tunawa da ranar AIDS ta duniya a ranar 1 ga Disamba, 2022.

UNICEF ta ce ci gaban rigakafin cutar kanjamau da kula da yara, matasa, da mata masu juna biyu ya kusan ja baya a cikin shekaru uku da suka gabata.

“Kusan yara da matasa 110,000 (shekaru 0-19) sun mutu sakamakon cutar kanjamau a cikin 2021, bisa ga sabon hoton UNICEF na duniya kan yara da HIV da AIDS,” in ji shi.

UNICEF ta kara da cewa, “A halin da ake ciki kuma, wasu 310,000 ne suka kamu da cutar, wanda ya kawo adadin matasan da ke dauke da cutar kanjamau zuwa miliyan 2.7.”

Anurita Bains, shugabar hukumar kula da cutar kanjamau ta Majalisar Dinkin Duniya, ta ce tilas ne a rufe tazarar daidaito tsakanin manya da yara a fadin kasashe domin samun damar yin gwaje-gwaje da magani yadda ya kamata.

“Ko da yake yara sun dade a baya da manya a martanin cutar kanjamau, tabarbarewar da aka gani a cikin shekaru uku da suka gabata ba a taba ganin irinsa ba, wanda ke jefa rayuwar matasa da yawa cikin hadarin rashin lafiya da mutuwa,” in ji Ms Bains.

A cewar hukumar ta Majalisar Dinkin Duniya, yara ne kawai ke da kashi bakwai cikin dari na cututtukan da ke da nasaba da cutar kanjamau amma suna fama da kashi 21 cikin 100 na sabbin masu kamuwa da cutar da kuma kashi 17 cikin 100 na mace-mace masu nasaba da cutar kanjamau a shekarar 2021.

Hukumar ta Majalisar Dinkin Duniya ta yi gargadin cewa kawo karshen cutar kanjamau a kananan yara da matasa zai ci gaba da zama mafarki mai nisa matukar ba a magance rashin daidaito ba.

“Tsakanin 2014 zuwa 2021, adadin sabbin cututtukan da ke kamuwa da yara da matasa masu shekaru 0 zuwa 14 ya ragu a duniya da kusan kashi 27%, amma ya karu da kashi 13% a Najeriya. Sai dai idan ba a magance masu haddasa rashin adalci ba,” in ji UNICEF, tare da lura da cewa masu fama da cutar kanjamau masu shekaru 0 da 14 sun ragu zuwa kashi 52 cikin 100 daga shekarar 2010 zuwa 2021.

Hukumar ta bayyana cewa sabbin kamuwa da cututtuka a tsakanin matasa masu shekaru 15 da 19 sun ragu da kashi 40 cikin dari.

UNICEF ta kara da cewa maganin masu dauke da cutar kanjamau a tsakanin mata masu juna biyu ya karu zuwa kashi 81 cikin 100 a duniya yayin da ya ragu daga kashi 57 zuwa kashi 34 a Najeriya.
