‘Yan Najeriya miliyan 95 ba su da tsaftar muhalli – UNICEF

Asusun ba da ilimi na Majalisar Dinkin Duniya UNICEF ya ce sama da ‘yan Najeriya miliyan 95 ne ba su da hanyoyin tsaftar muhalli.

Olusoji Akinleye, kodineta kuma jami’i mai kula da ofishin UNICEF a Enugu, ya bayyana hakan a ranar Talata a Enugu, a wani taron tattaunawa da manema labarai na bikin “Ranar makewayi (Toilet) ta Duniya na 2024” mai taken “Toilet; wurin zaman lafiya.”

Majalisar Dinkin Duniya ce ke gudanar da wannan rana a kowace ranar 19 ga Nuwamba tun daga shekarar 2013.

Mista Akinleye ya ce yanayin tsaftar muhalli a Najeriya na bukatar karin matakan da gwamnati ta dauka.

A cewarsa, a halin yanzu ‘yan Najeriya miliyan 48 ne ke yin bayan gida a fili, yara miliyan 18 kuma sun hada da yara miliyan 95, sannan miliyan 95 ba su da hanyoyin tsaftar muhalli.

“Har ila yau, kashi 70 cikin 100 na makarantun da ba su da damar samun ayyukan tsaftar muhalli (~ makarantu 91,000); Kashi 88 cikin 100 na cibiyoyin kiwon lafiya ba tare da samun tsaftar muhalli ba (cibiyoyin kiwon lafiya 27,600),” in ji shi.

Kungiyar ta OIC ta kara da cewa kashi 80 cikin 100 na kasuwanni da wuraren shakatawa da motoci ba su da damar samun tsaftar muhalli. Ya zargi rashin isassun kudade da sanadin ci gaba da yin bahaya a fili (ODF) a Najeriya.

“Kashi 17 cikin 100 (134 daga cikin 774) na kananan hukumomin ne suka samu ODF, tare da kashi tara cikin dari na nasarori a jihohin da UNICEF ke tallafawa.

“Alkawari na tarayya ya ragu tun 2023, wanda ya haifar da dakatar da ayyukan ODF,” in ji shi.

Ya ce kudaden da ake bukata na ODF a duk shekara sun kai kusan biliyan ₦168.75, inda ya kara da cewa biliyan 15 ne kawai aka zuba daga
2018 zuwa 2022.
